Laganas beautiful sandy beach is famous for Kareta-Kareta turtles. (There are no motorized water sports available here, the turtles take priority). The main town of Zakynthos is just a few miles away and offers a great opportunity to shop and explore the habour and narrow streets. There are numerous bars, restaurants and clubs in the bustling resort centre.
