This is a great little gem in the heart of Amsterdam and comes highly recommended
This hotel has only a small breakfast area, due to its ideal location, which is found at the far end of the reception area and which is very fashionably decorated in brown and leather furnishings, the same as the lobby
This is a traditional building consisting of a few typical Amsterdam houses and in keeping with the rest of the neighbourhood
The lobby is very small and leads directly into the reception area. It is very tastefully decorated in a boutiquey style with dark brown leather, song quotes on the walls, books, pictures and quite a luxurious feel which is a nice surprise in a 2 star hotel.

This hotel has a magnificent location in the heart of Amsterdam, around the corner from the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, as well as a short skip away from the fashionable PC Hooftstraat with all the designer boutiques one could hope for eg Mulberry, Burberry, Chanel, Armani, Gucci, Tiffanys etc etc. It is within walking distance of most tourist attractions and a short tram ride away from Central Station which has direct access to Schiphol airport in 15 minutes

Due to the age and therefore shape of the hotel, the bedrooms vary tremendously in size but are all decorated to a very high standard for a 2 star property, with bright, light and airy rooms in contrast to the dark and cosy lobby. Their are photo prints on the walls, wooden flooring and the pristine bathrooms come with shower only.
